In the event that this Consulate must consult with the Brazilian Ministry in order to grant a visa a letter from a Travel Agent or Airline with full itinerary will be acceptable | | Proof of funds | Proof of means of support during the stay of the applicant in Brazil, (bank statement, pay slip, credit cards or proof of Foreign Exchange are acceptable) | | Accommodation | Confirmation of hotel reservation (name, address & telephone number) or name and address of intended accommodation | | Letter of Employment/Enrolment | Letter from employer or Educational Institute confirming employment or enrolment | | Seminar | Copy of invitation to conference or seminar etc., in Brazil | | Certificate of Vaccination | Certificate of vaccination for Polio for children under age 6 | | international Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate | Inoculation against Yellow Fever is necessary | | Minors travelling unacompanied | Minors traveling unaccompanied or in the company of an adult other than both parents or legal guardian must present an original authorization from the parents or legal guardian signed before a notary public | | Children travelling on Parent's passport | Children traveling on parents passport will be issued with a separate visa in the passport, and be subjected to the same visa requirements as the passport holder | | Letter from Employer | Notarized letter from employer or sponsoring company, clearly stating the precise nature of business, dates or arrival and departure, and financial responsibility for the costs of the trip (the letter must be on an official company letterhead, signed by a senior manager, introducing the applicant and specifying his/her job/position in the company) | | Extension of Temporary-II visas | Bears of Temporary-II visas intending to stay in Brazil for longer than 90 days must request at the Federal Police Department in Brazil an extension within the first 30 days of their entry into the country | | Filming | Applicants intending to take part in the production/filming of documentary, commercial or advertisement videos or motion pictures MUST submit a permit from the Ministry of Culture (Secretaria para o Desenvolvimento Audiovisual), which is to be obtained by the interested party/agent/representative in Brazil prior to the issuance of the visa |
